ITS INFORMATION OVERLOAD TIME

ITS INFORMATION OVERLOAD TIME.

Firstly an apology. My hand is up, it was I who was responsible for the information download for SNP members earlier this week. No sooner had I published my article exposing how delegates were being played by the Party Leadership through withholding the names of those standing for office and then with a  swish of a wand it all became available on the My SNP website.

How do I know it was my article that brought this about? Well the SNP NEC met on the Saturday. The issue of when this information would be available was raised.. Then puzzled looks but answer there was none. My article is then published on the Sunday exposing the game and the button is pushed and what could not be answered the day before at the NEC suddenly becomes freely available.

Wait there is more, so concerned about further revelations a host of other information is released including office bearer reports, of which more later, but the very very controversial Governance Report was also published. some weeks before, albeit you need to know how to navigate the site to find it. Now it contains some horrendous proposals as previously published in my article https://yoursforscotlandcom.wordpress.com/2021/09/07/the-takeover-plot-exposed/

Those SNP members who flooded social media saying I was lying and that no such report existed now have the chance to read it themselves. No apologies required you were just out the loop, like the rest of the ordinary membership.

They obviously met and asked themselves “what else has he got?”. They were desperate to avoid any more big reveals in Conference Week. They adjudged “ he has probably got the lot” so they decided a rush download was the best strategy to limit any damage. I not sure that is correct.

Now there are some stunning new revelations in this release of this report. This is from Mike Russell the Party President’s report “ am pleased to have chaired that sub group and I hope it will continue to meet after the conference to do full justice to the many strong and constructive recommendations which are focused on resolving internal differences, improving the experience of members particularly on issues of communications, transparency and dealing with complaints. i.e in the process of being brought forward . Conference will also I hope discuss the issues involved. The sub group decided however to make no recommendation to Annual Conference on the issue of the size or composition of the NEC meanwhile and is keen that the regional structures be given an opportunity to bed in and help the role of directly elected regional members develop. ( my emphasis)

Two revelations immediately strike me and again I quote from the reports “some of those necessary changes – inspired by the interim report of the Review – have already been made while others are in the process of being brought forward “ This line bemused a few NEC members because they cannot recall ANY of the Report being endorsed or permission being granted for ANY of it being implemented”

Likewise I thought this line was particularly interesting and worrying “Conference will also I hope discuss the issues involved” NOT AT THIS CONFERENCE THEY WON’T. THIS IS THE PRESIDENT OF THE PARTY. IF HE CAN ONLY “HOPE” members will get some say then that suggests he is not fully in control of the process, despite chairing the sub committee involved.

He also reveals that his sub committee have axed the proposal to half the number of elected regional representatives so at least eight of those elected this week can thank my sources and my previous article for delaying their execution, at least this year. I say that because at last Saturday’s NEC it was announced the entire report would be on the agenda at the next NEC meeting after Conference. Much easier to discuss and implement these issues AFTER conference than before. It avoids ordinary members getting in the way, until it is all over. It won’t matter by then as the few last vestiges of power and accountability will have been removed from ordinary members.

So even if it comes to a later Conference, the NEC will use the time between now and then to implement the vast bulk of the recommendations making it a fait accompli. That is why it is not being discussed this week. They need more time. I have had the Governance Report for many weeks and the Leadership had it long before that. It could have featured as part of this Conference, that it does not is because they don’t want it discussed until they have had the chance to implement so much of it , that it would be difficult to change.

Another direct quote from the President’s report “so I wasn’t entirely unprepared for the difficult early meetings of the NEC I attended which included some malign leaking of the worst sort. This internal campaign of destabilisation almost entirely ceased however when some people resigned from the NEC and office bearer posts in order to join the newly formed Alba Party”.

I particularly liked his ludicrous attempts to blame the leaking of events on the NEC all year on those who left to join Alba. Sorry Mike but that looks rather silly when I am telling you what happened at last Saturday’s NEC! Those Alba people left long ago, much earlier in the year. I can assure you that of all the leaks that I have enjoyed over the year only ONE came from a person who is now an Alba member. Back to the sleeping pills my friend!

Now please SNP members don’t be fooled with the imprecise assurances doing the rounds of “don’t worry not everything in the Governance Report will be implemented”. This is an age old tactic of the manipulators that allow them to fog any challenge, fending off opposition until it is all implemented. On past experience they may plan to remove a comma!

Time is not on your side if you oppose these changes, it is on the agenda of the NEXT NEC meeting so you need to be very sure of who you elect to the NEC later this week. If you fail the SNP are finished and I confidently forecast the steady trickle to Alba will become a flood as the SNP become the official Party of biology denial and political fascist persecution of political opponents, having completed the utter betrayal of generations of hardworking nationalists who built the Party, a Party wholly devoted to Independence as the dominant political policy of the Party. Those principles have disappeared under the control freaks of today’s leadership who have centralised everything including candidate selection, not just at Parliamentary level but at Local Government level as well.

If it helps branches I can reveal that the control freaks plan to announce who your local government candidates are round about the 15th December 2021. Whoops Mike, another leak! Quick blame Alba!

To be honest I think I am going to stop discussing the internal politics of the SNP after this weekend. Members are in the last chance saloon and unless I see a sufficient push back against the leadership this weekend I will leave them to experience the consequences on their own. The SNP WILL BE DEAD TO ME. THEY WILL NEVER EVER SEE A VOTE FROM ME AGAIN UNTIL THE MURRELLS AND ANGUS ROBERTSON ARE GONE!

They have destroyed something in my life that was precious, that I had pride in for decades. Thousands of others felt the same and I know of many who while still in the Party will be deciding next week whether it is time to leave. So when delegates vote be aware your vote will have consequences. I feel for you because they have already succeeded to inbuild a huge advantage to themselves by handing out unelected seats to their favourites by giving various affiliate groups seats for as little as 100 members, while ordinary members require 7500 members in an area to get a single seat. They have stacked the odds against you but I still wish you well, you deserve better, a lot better.

To all those in the SNP WHO STILL PUT INDEPENDENCE FIRST, ABOVE BIOLOGY DENIAL, HATE CRIME AND FASCIST OPPRESSION OF POLITICAL OPPONENTS I WISH YOU EVERY SUCCESS. TO THE REST, WHO CARES?

I am, as always

Yours for Scotland

Special Announcement

Craig Murray is due to be released next Tuesday on the 30th November 2021 from Saughton Jail at around 10am where he has been wrongly imprisoned for several months as a political prisoner in the corrupt state that Scotland has become.

The very least we can all do is be there to meet and cheer him to demonstrate our determination to defend freedom of speech in Scotland.

Craig will address the rally and it will be videoed so that it can be shared with media across the World.

If you can be there please make the effort. I am in the USA so will not be there in person but I will be raising a toast to him and perhaps sharing any video at the St Andrews Night Dinner I am hosting in Clearwater, Florida.

  1. I used to respect Mike Russell.

Soon the SNP hierarchy will will be fighting like rats in a sack. Pointless being a leader if you have no troops to lead.

No one is pure enough for the idiocy that is genderwoowoo.

  2. This is the battleground: awareness
Once SNP voters become aware of the reality of the new SNP they will leave – the means to save the SNP has been taken from them.
Once Scots become aware of the colonial and exploited position of Scotland in this union they will demand independence. Many imagine they are valued partners and that is why the BT campaign in 2014 increased the YES vote: the more the “unionists” talk the more people realise this is not a union.

To an extent we should be thankful for Sturgeons cabal and the new SNP:
Imagine if this broken democracy and justice system had been exploited after independence? Now we know what needs to be in our constitution.
The political split in YES makes people more aware that independence is about self determination – it is not bundled with any one political ideology. Unionists can attack policies but it is not possible to attack self determination. All they have left is too wee, too poor and too stupid. That will be the focus of their campaign as can already be seen from their paid posters and the bbc.

Indeed, it puts paid to the idea that independence will inevitably lead to better governance – only if we avoid putting the wrong people in charge. The Americans understood political tyranny when they drafted their constitution, let us draft ours with the same threat in mind.

      1. And the Americans still ended up, as near as damn it, with a two party oligarchy, subverted by the interests of Wall Street.

That said, I agree with the point you’e making about any post independence constitution.

It succeeded so well that the USA became a monster, in which the taints, the sickness and the inhumanity of Europe have grown to appalling dimensions.” Frantz Fanon. A written constitution is important but further checks have to be in place.

Resigned SNP the same day (after 36 years membership).

    So glad I did!

  4. I let my membership run out at the start of this week. I would like to renew but what’s the point. I would like to resist but frankly don’t know how just being an anonymous member, in a branch of staunch party people of decades standing, who can’t or don;t want to see what is going on. What can ordinary members actually do here?

  5. Well done. You named all the policies and attitudes which made me leave ( pre Alba) with my local MP relaying a message from another MP telling me to stay and fight! To protect the innocent I will not divulge which one is no longer SNP, but I did burst out laughing!

  6. I was a newbie member only joining after Indyref. Gave it my best shot and stayed long enough to try to fight for change but after the NEC elections and the good guys that we worked to get elected were sidelined or had to resign to preserve their professional reputations I resigned. Sad to see my former Msp Mike Russel reduced to a figurehead and just wish he had walked away with his well earned reputation intact.

  7. Ah, the ‘hidden oligarchy’, one of the key weaknesses of simplistic democracy that representative democracy was carefully designed to prevent. They don’t like being unhidden!

The other key weakness was the ‘demagogue’ who could sway the crowd to his bidding, using their people power to implement his (or her) will, thinking it their own. Now, I wonder if anyone currently exemplifies that one?

  9. 2 years ago I resigned from the SNP because I didn’t like the way they were developing in to another Britnat/Colonial knee-crawler organisation.

Last week I joined ALBA. 🙂

N.B. The fact-finder General of the Indy Movement, Rev. Stu – Wings, has gone into a very well earned R&R.

He had his own special way of writing and running the blog as he saw fit, which was not only sharp as a Katana sword but also terrified the s**t out of the Britnats as well as our very own band “Nikla and the Cultists”. Hence the honey like attraction for trolls of every grade of thick.

Because he dominated the main stage, a lot of very good blogs got less time in the spotlight and were IMO sorely under valued with regards to the articles and commentators.

Since WOS “retiring” from the action, a lot more attention has moved to sites like “Yours for Scotland”, “Barrheadboy”, “Calton Jock”, “Grumpy Scottish Man” etc., some have also fallen by the wayside and are gone.

Old regulars are now appearing more often on these sites and because they are better regulated to control the trolling, the quality of discussion is very high. (This is not a criticism of WOS, merely a comparison.)

IMO we’re starting to get our act together and that can only be a good thing.

  10. A Reminder to the remaining SNP members: Check the temperature of the water you are sitting in.

“The boiling frog is an apologue describing a frog being slowly boiled alive. The premise is that if a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death. The story is often used as a metaphor for the inability or unwillingness of people to react to or be aware of sinister threats that arise gradually rather than suddenly.”

  11. Great article Iain probably the best I’ve read on your blog and I’ve read them all, surely it’s only a matter of time before the SNP collapse under the weight of their own corruption, I know there are still some good guys there but they’re powerless to do anything, the party’s finished they just have to know that, it’s time for them to speak out or get out

  12. It will take time but I remain confident that the wider YES movement will recover the spirit and drive of Indy1.
A hard lesson here: Never again should the YES movement trust a political Party to drive Independence. We need a Broad umbrella movement with several Parties in alliance with one objective Independence.

The Betrayal by Sturgeon must lead to change.

    1. “We need a Broad umbrella movement . . .with one objective Independence”
      Indeed.
In my view, members of all sorts of clubs, associations, sports and hobby groups, trade unions etc should try and get them to sign up for Independence
To make support visible, they could issue a statement like “On behalf of our members the XYZ club/local chapter of . . in ABC Town announces it supports Independence”.
Such a declaration should at least make the local newspapers and encourage other local associations to do likewise.

  13. It makes me sad and angry that so many people have confused their desire for independence with the NEED to BELONG to an organisation that is so blatantly and openly FAILING DELIBERATELY to achieve or even attempting to achieve that aim

So many things can be achieved by the power of people numbers but when some individuals capture or corrupt those organisations there HAS to be a means to remove them
Surely it is not outwith the ability of members past and present who feel outraged and vehemently opposed to the capture and corruption of that organisation which they revered by certain individuals , to coalesce into a group to legally challenge the outrage of actions taken by officials to subvert and change the rulings and constitution which FORCED them to remove themselves from that organisation

What would have caused publicity that would have been difficult to ignore by the MSM would have been a CLASS ACTION against the sturrells for the alleged missing indy ref funds , those funds donated by members and NON MEMBERS for the explicit use of independence actions NOT to be used by a political party to buy furniture
That CLASS ACTION could have been undertaken on a no win no fee agreement but as usual people refused to act as one and DEFEAT ,RIDICULE and EXPOSE the MONSTERS

  14. It really is scary to see in how little time a long standing political party so structured and strong can be taken over , brought down to its knees and destroyed from within under one political fraud. The selfishness of her actions cannot be described with words. She has effectively robbed Scotland of 6 years of independence and possibly of the opportunity to become independent any time soon. Frankly, I cannot think in bigger betrayal to Scotland than this.

But there is no way she could have done this alone. All those SNP MSPs and MPs have helped her with their compliant silence to destroy Scotland’s main vehicle for independence. There is no forgiveness for this. There is no turning back either. We cannot get back those 7 years they have wasted us. Many of our fellow Scots died during those 7 years without seeing their country independent despite fighting for that vision all their adult lives and despite being able to almost touch it on 8th May 2015. What this political fraud has done really is despicable.

If the amoebas sitting under the SNP rosette both in Holyrood and Westminster wanted to help her making themselves unelectable and the SNP the most hated party in Scotland, congratulations to them are in order because they are succeeding. Certainly they have earned their place in the history books as the embarrassing cowards who Scotland sent on the 8th May 2015 to London standing high, dressed as lions and with the only mission to bring back its sovereignty but instead, they betrayed that trust, they disregarded the mandate and they let the Scottish people down by handing over to England Scotland’s sovereignty for another 7 years. I am convinced they will come crawling back without Scotland’s sovereignty and dressed as mice after being sent off with a farewell of raucous laughter from England’s political parties. Sturgeon’s SNP: the great achievers who achieved nothing.

If there is a lesson for all of us to learn from this is that we can never entrust again the pursuit of Scotland’s independence to any political party and even less to a “leader”. We all have to be leaders. We all have to be lions. We all have to pursue independence and to push the parties relentlessly to do what we want them to do and if they don’t, simply ditch them and bypass them. We have already had 7 years of timewasters who have brought us nothing other than embarrassment and the pain of watching their leader destroying our vehicle for independence and handing over our assets, rights and powers to our union partner.

Time to learn from our mistakes. Sturgeon needs to go. The SNP needs to go. The SNP MSPs and MPs who let us down for 7 years and did nothing to stop this need to go.

We need to get our Westminster seats back and this time lend them to real lions, no more timewasters.

  15. Sometimes I try to put myself in the shoes of other people and try to think as they do, so ie I imagine I’m a SNP MP or MSP I’m aware that those who elected me voted mainly for the party not me per say, so my political career is safe with the party most people vote for it’s that simple and right now that’s the SNP they’re the gravy train and I’m on it.

The problem is that party has not only become hopelessly corrupt but has abandoned the very principles I joined them for. they are no longer compatible with my beliefs, I’m effectively asking people to believe in a party I no longer believe in myself, so what do I do ? do I go with my principles walk away and join another another party that does stand for my beliefs, that would seem the logical thing to do in a perfect world but we don’t live in a perfect world and principles can have serious consequences, I have a mortgage to pay a family to raise, mouths to feed, it’s a dilemma.

Maybe I’ll just sit tight for a while see which way the wind blows

Another great article by the way. It puts ‘ incompetence – not badness’ out the window. Although these days that argument seems very threadbare and old fashioned.

In the aftermath of 2014 I found I held honest to goodness Unionists in more high regard than Red Tory Labourites….

Now however, those SNP members, who I personally know kept abreast of the Salmond Trial, and Craig Murray, and know full well the ins and outs of it, and still bottled it in the last HE with both votes SNP, to be the lowest of the low.

Anyway, can’t be long now before the Sanitarypads Now Party become totally unelectable, and they can all blame Alba for ‘splitting the vote’.

  18. The information here is pretty devastating in the way it demonstrates just how the SNP hierarchy has taken control of the party. Huge thanks are due to Iain for publishing it and his researchers and sources for making it possible. I don’t think I am alone in feeling over the past few months that we have been clinging to the hope that something would crack and the truth would finally come out.
This article renews that hope to the extent that we may be entering the end game, On a related matter, where again the truth must come out, I have today had emails with another two pieces from John Smythe Invetigates, detailing what he calls Phase 3.
One significant piece of information in the second of these is that Ms A and Ms B both submitted their formal complaints to the Investigating Officer under the new Procefure in January 2018 when they should not have known about it. This new Procedure did not appear on the SG internet, so could not be put into effect, until February 2018
It is quite hard work to follow the discrepancies John Smythe reveals, but I do hope that someone will open up the investigation into how the Scottish Government and Civil Service attempted to cover their tracks tegarding the allegations made against Alex Salmond.

  19. Another great article. We are learning the hard way that we should not have put all our eggs in one basket ( the SNP basket) regarding Independence. In the run up to the referendum in 2014 and for a short while after it we thought and indeed trusted the SNP to fight for our self determination. But Eggs like parties in Government especially ones who make promises that are not fulfilled even though their whole reason for existing are these promises namely Independence only have a limited shelf life eventually going stale and rotten the shells crack and the stench of rotten eggs is released, when we get to this stage the eggs need discarded and fresh eggs are required. This is the stage we are at in Scottish politics at the moment, we need to get rid of the rotten eggs and get other fresh ones while making sure that we have a number of suppliers to ensure that we never depend on only one supplier ever again. Gradually people are beginning to see that the promises are hollow and that a Referendum is not the way forward but a Plebiscite Election is now required. The SNP now seem to stand for all sorts of weird and wonky policies, anything but Independence the Leadership are now Devolutionists to the core. If any of the people still in the SNP think that there will be a Referendum in 18 months time I will gladly sell them tickets for day trips to the moon. They stick to the Section 30 route to Independence like glue knowing it is a dead end. As shown at the last election the SNP are now Sturgeons No Plebiscite party.

  20. Scotland’s colonial administration are a shambolic failure on pretty much everything. It almost seems intentional, as if Whitehall sends its least able to ‘manage’ Scotland, giving us what Memmi refers to as a ‘mediocre meritocracy’; standard fare in any colony. Oppressing the people and mystifying them with weird policies was a bad move – folk were bound to notice at some point. A treacherous dominant National Party elite delaying independence and feathering its ain nest is all part of the decolonisation template of course. But change is in the air – an we coud shuirly dae wi a guid cauld blaw.

  21. The hardest lines in this devastating critique are when you say the SNP will be dead to you til the Murrells and Robertson are gone. Powerful as it is, the underlying sadness at the destruction wrought by those individuals on a political party that was by far the most open and democratic of them all… Particularly knowing you and Roddy and others to be among the silent giants that built that earlier SNP … That’s the hardest part of this important post.

I hope the SNP never becomes totally dead to you.

The Empress’s ( very expensive ) new clothes are starting to looked pretty frayed and it can only be a matter of time before a critical mass rejection of her and her effete , malignant , opportunistic courtiers occurs .The issue for us is how the inevitable anger and disillusion will manifest and what direction it will drive those affected .

Some of course will stay blindly loyal to the end – looking for scapegoats any and everywhere other than the blatantly obvious – and will go down with the rubber dinghy singing a discordant ” Rule Trans-Oceania ” whilst waves of disgust wash over them and the culprits are helicoptered away to new and even more lucrative positions .

Between Alba and decent independents the cull of SNP councilors, who are equally as complacent in their perceived sinecures is going to be brutal. And so it should be.

YES Willie THAT is what we MUST guard against , Alex Salmond put COUNTRY before party and asked everyone to vote SNP 1 and ALBA 2 to realise a supermajority in HR in an effort to hold nicla’s feet to the fire and to PROGRESS INDEPENDENCE , but the VILE and narcissistic she/her/it couldn’t stand losing any limelight or threat to her power so went on the ATTACK against Scotland’s best interests , make no mistake , her accusations , denigration , demeaning of Salmond and ALBA, and her continuous repeated mantra of both votes SNP was deliberately designed to keep Salmond from exposing her ineptitude and disinterest to forward independence , NOT only that any person with a semblance of strategy which she would be advised would know that publicly opposing and attempting to DESTROY a fellow independence party would only RESULT in returning more unionists to HR
SO in effect she DELIBERATELY set out to DAMAGE and SABOTAGE Scotland’s desperately needed independence in favour of retaining POWER alongside her unionist CHUMS

SO come the council elections we will be subject to the onslaught of ( if you don’t vote SNP till you boak you will only allow unionists to take control of the councils ) is there a difference ????? So ALBA and ISP better have something in their armoury to counteract the bullshit and pleading
