AS THE POLICE CLOSE IN.

When you read this post which was published originally on the 1st June 2021 it easy to think there is a bit of the prophet about me. I don’t think I could have been clearer that the disappearance of the ring fenced money and denying the elected treasurer access to the books was always going to cause major problems down the road. As the police close in I can prove “YOU WERE WELL WARNED”

YOU DON’T KNOW THE HALF OF IT…YOU DO NOW!

Dot Jessiman’s letter had a huge impact. Record numbers of readers to my blog yesterday. People are concerned about the chaos that seems to surround the “ ring fenced money” and other financial matters.

Dot’s brave decision to go public has encouraged others and my story today relates to that new information…what exactly happened at the NEC meeting in March when one of the three members of the audit committee read out on behalf of all three of the auditors their concerns and explanation of why they were resigning?

Now in any normal Organisation an event of this kind would be a serious matter, the NEC under the constitution is the body ultimately responsible for the finances of the Party and an audit report highlighting concerns you would expect to be given proper consideration. Certainly a fair hearing, a willingness to consider the matter. At least an appreciation that the auditors felt something was sufficiently amiss that they had made their best endeavors to uncover the problem. Having been blocked from accessing the information by the Chief Executive they felt they had no alternative but to report it to the ultimate regulatory body within the Party and tender their resignations to emphasise the seriousness of such a serious breach of best practice. They probably had never considered the possibility that the NEC would be happy for this blockage to remain in place. The person they were reporting of blocking them access was the Party Leader’s partner but they were raising practices, not personalities. I would remind readers two of the audit members were the current SNP Lord Provost of Edinburgh, a chartered accountant and also another who is a senior Director of a Group of Companies.

The other of the three auditors was an elected member of the NEC and Allison Graham , delivered a measured and calm report and explanation of their concerns and why they felt, in order to protect their own professional reputations, that they had no option but to resign as the present situation was completely unacceptable and ensured that lacking access to the required information they could not carry out their duties and advise the elected National Treasurer properly.

All hell broke out, nobody wanted to discuss the content of the report, they went bananas because Allison had read it out at the NEC MEETING. Leading the complainers was a Nec Rep from the Highlands and Islands, a Ian Cockburn, who works for the Westminster Leader Ian BLACKFORD in his Dingwall office. Another member of the NEC described his attack on Allison as a mad, bad tempered “rant”, very aggressive and completely unjustified. He was outraged that she had raised the matter at the NEC. When he finished he got widespread support from the Wokies but not just them, a very senior figure, the Party Leader made clear she fully approved of Cockburn’s aggressive verbal assault on the female auditor. She was backed up by, I nearly fell off my seat when I heard about this, Cllr Graham Campbell who boasted about his considerable business experience, his wide experience as a company director/trustee of various bodies emphasising he was the last person to be questioned about transparency or financial probity! The NEC member who supplied me with this information said “My impression was they would not recognise good and proper governance if it hit them in the face”. Cllr Campbell, this self appointed “expert” in financial probity and transparency, then stated Allison should NEVER have been permitted to report this to the NEC. So much for transparency, that didn’t last long!

Now normally this could be dismissed or devalued by the usual tactics of disputing the facts, raising a counter story. Not this time, we live in the 21st century, the meeting was being held on Zoom and one enterprising NEC member, shocked at what was happening to poor Allison took some important screenshots.

The support for the aggressive rant against Allison is highlighted in screenshot one

Support from the Wokies

And best of all the financial expert Cllr Campbell

So there you have it in the clearest form. The NEC wanted it buried. They are not trying to find any answers about the ring fenced funds or anything else. They are sitting round the table armed with shovels, not for digging but for burying any attempt to bring about proper management of the financial assets of the Party, in other terms, members and non members funds.

Now you can keep your head in the sand, be blind to what is happening within the most important vehicle to deliver Scottish Independence. These actions are killing Independence, they are splitting the Yes Movement asunder.

You can decide whether you side with honest transparency and the operation of proper financial governance as has always been the case until recent years or whether you want people who have lost all proper responsibility for the posts they hold, to carry on regardless…until it all comes crashing down, as it surely will.

Now you can understand why three auditors resigned and the National Treasurer Douglas Chapman MP, elected by Conference to sort this mess out, had no option but to resign when he was also blocked from accessing the information he needed as well.

You asked for proof…how much more do you need?

I am, as always

Yours for Scotland

  1. The sad part is that nothing surprised me in the article.

I know those mentioned in the article and I would support Dot’s presentation without hesitation.
Anyone who knows Campbell, who has even met Campbell, will know that he is an aggressive bully who sound like “Citizen Smith” from the old TV series…..waffle with no foundation.

Sturgeon created the NEC culture to ensure her will, and not good governance dominated meetings.

The Murrell Collective now dominate every section of the Party and I doubt any leader could clear out this Augean Stable.

    1. Sadly Bob, I also think that there is nothing at all about this crowd and party that is worth saving. The hustings for party leader and FM is hardly setting the heather on fire, especially as it is so blatantly clear how it is being manipulated in favour of Mr Useless. If he is elected that will be the end of the SNP.

I commented on the above article when Iain published it the first time around. As I said, we have run our own business for over forty years now, and I had never heard of any accountancy term as ” the money being woven through the accounts”. Our accountants and auditors would never have accepted an excuse like that in a million years.

Just another quick point Iain, when it all hits the fan big time, as it look as if it is now doing, will the NEC members not also be personally liable for the misused funds. This could be extremely serious for all of them, if only they had a brain cell between them.

      1. Yes Carol it could be. I am pretty sure the SNP have not bothered to take our a professional Indemnity to protect them. This article and especially the screenshots display they should have acted. We await the police action and dependent on that they could also be looking at defending themselves in court. At the time I know for certain that some sought assurance that they were protected. I equally know that on not getting the assurance they left the NEC and are no longer there leaving it to the Woke and those with no assets.

  2. A cult inversely values technically expertise. Competence presents a threat to the hierarchy of the cult. After all, Cllr Campbell’s partner has a Degree in Dramatic Studies from the Royal Scottish College of Music & Drama yet replaced Joanna Cherry KC as Westminster, Justice spokesperson in 2021.
Let’s review the Sunday papers to learn what fresh horrors emerge from the clown car.

    1. I don’t think she has a degree. She dropped out early as far as I know.
Or in polite terms she in unqualified in even Music and Drama.

      1. I too have a degree in Drama and I am a tad miffed that it is assumed we are all harebrained.

To the vexing subject in hand , I hope Iain is correct and an enterprising policeman is waiting in the wings.

      2. The blockage was not the police it was the Crown Office. The blockage David Harvie is gone, and note the Lord Advocate’s recent decision to publicly stand down from involvement in the case, this has led to renewed action by the police as they await new instructions from the Crown Office.

  3. When the history books are written, or maybe before, I think we might all relatively soon learn a lot more about what has been going on the background.

The misappropriation of the £600k and the responses to enquiry about its dissapearance are but symptoms of a cancerous control at the heart of the SNP.

The Alex Salmond attempted stich up was a vicious nasty example of utterly mendacious coordinated behavior.

The rigging of approval and selection of candidates another.

The malign control of the NEC. The abolition of National Council.

All are examples of the same thing and one has to ask how long did it take before the German people woke up to the reality that the Nazi party control was less than wholesome.

But that is a question that more folks should maybe be asking in colonial Scotland.

Excellent stuff Iain setting out this latest information.

Like our sovereignty, our rights as a people, there is a lot more to be uncovered and especially so about the foul influences who have so willfully and systematically sought to deny our rights.

  4. It’s shocking really but beyond sad. I’m not bothered about the SNP as a party, they can go hang, but they are still seen as the party of independence and with the current cabal in charge, indy is dead as a parliamentary endeavour.

One can only hope that Operation Branchform is coming to a conclusion. After all it’s been nearly 2 years.
Sometimes I wish I didn’t know the stuff I know (and I don’t know the half of it) and I could be blissfully unaware of how betrayed we have been by the nuSNP and the Sturgeonite mafia…

  5. A few years ago Calmac had Pentalina down round several ports on trial and it was rejected because of I think union concerns on staffing but they made up a reason about an internal bulkhead That did not have the proper fire proofing. Not sure how big a job it was to rectify but they spent millions on alterations to the wee second hand ferry they bought rather than use Pentalina.

    1. There may be a reason why prosecutions have not occurred in instances where they might have been anticipated, and why certain actors remain in post despite serious concerns raised about their conduct.

Of interest here may be the Covert Human Intelligence Sources (Criminal Conduct) Act 2021 which provides for, in certain circumstances, criminal conduct to be ‘authorised’:

(5)A criminal conduct authorisation is necessary on grounds falling within this subsection if it is necessary—
      (a)in the interests of national security;
(b)for the purpose of preventing or detecting crime or of preventing disorder; or
(c)in the interests of the economic well-being of the United Kingdom.

The question is whether the matter of Scottish independence is being construed, by UK state entities, as relating to a) and c)?

If so, here the question concerns: “..whether the 2021 Act confers full civil and criminal immunity for those undercover operatives who act within the terms of the authorisation given by their handlers.” https://ukhumanrightsblog.com/2021/03/26/mi5-undercover-agent-policy-held-lawful/

      1. You’re comments Alf very much lead to the reality that so much of what has happened to the SNP and the wider independence movement due to the interference of the tentacles of Scotland’s colonial masters.

No one should be in any doubt that Scotland is a colony and that it’s colonial masters will do anything and everything it can to retain it’s colony.

Undercover state security agents acting criminally, commissioning criminal acts are as much part of the modus operandi as putting in troops overtly. No doubt whatsoever that the Brits are all over the independence movement. And as you point out criminal undercover activities by state operatives in the interests of the economic well being of the United Kingdom are legally sanctioned.

And what better, more important economic well being is there for the United Kingdom than to retain Scotland’s oil, gas, water, renewables, marine estate and other such valuable resources. Seen in that context reality becomes clear.

But colonies have escaped from the great British empire. Our nearest neighbour Ireland did it for the most part just over a hundred years ago. India, Kenya and many many more did so too. We all just need to be crystal clear on what we are up against. If we do that then we can, and we will escape the clutches of this very evil empire.

And the current SNP clique of control. No one should have any doubt as to how and why these bit players have sold out in the way that they have.

      2. Very interesting Alf, I have never heard of this. Might explain a lot, or mibbies just sheer incompetence on the part of the Borg now in charge.

        Liked by 8 people

      3. mibbies but I think the Borg is one who could do with a few interviews under caution – the evidence of so much wrong doing from money through to abuse of the justice system itself is in plain sight. What can we make of the state pursuit of Salmond when stacked against failure to maintain public and financial records, witness tampering (and yes, I believe what Lloyd did does fall under that category), false witness (conflicting evidence was given under oath) and misuse of funds all getting a free pass? Justice in colonial Scotland? Fat chance.

      4. You raise a very interesting point, Alf, although I would argue that the phrase “in the interests of the economic well-being of the United Kingdom” does not hold up to scrutiny and, like all Westminster legislation designed to subjugate Scotland, is open to challenge. For example, the United Kingdom is comprised of two nations – Scotland and England – and what is in Scotland’s economic interests is not necessarily (and in fact rarely) in England’s economic interests (and hence the anomaly at the heart of the Union). If the Union was a partnership of equals then this phrase would be written as, “in the interests of the economic well-being of Scotland and/or England”. However, as we know to our cost it is far from being a partnership of equals, and in the context of England as the dominant and domineering partner then the implicit meaning of this phrase is “in the interests of the economic well-being of the CONTROLLING nation” i.e. England.

This does not mean that I don’t think Westminster would use any means fair or foul, especially the latter, to ensure the SNP continues as an ineffectual party as regards to independence (although they are doing a pretty good job of neutralising themselves as an effective political force), but ultimately fraud is fraud and crime is crime. It is also difficult to define what is in someone’s (or the state’s) interest in legal terms, and even if something could be proven to be in someone’s (or the state’s) interest, it would still not permit criminal activity in an open and democratic society. Unfortunately however, as the Covert Human Intelligence Sources (Criminal Conduct) Act 2021 and other legislation like it specifically designed to sanction crime and illegal activity on state grounds makes clear, we are in fact living under authoritarianism: Westminster is a dictatorship disguised as a democracy, and the Union a mechanism of colonial dictatorship disguised as a partnership of equals.

As Sara highlighting in her excellent article (“All Scotland Needs to Know This We Are Being Robbed Daily!”) and as I alluded to in my comment, understanding the truth of Scotland’s constitutional history – and the reality of our situation – is the key to unravelling Westminster’s hold over Scotland. In Scotland we do not need to resort to arms to regain our independence, we only need to assert the truth. And since it appears that the SNP are no longer capable of asserting the truth, then I think we have to channel all our energies through Salvo and circumvent the politicians altogether.

  6. What a disgusting bunch they have just infiltrated a good party, and bringing it too its knees. However the popcorn is ready. I see a lot on the horizon which is going to finish the SNP. Including the stitch up of Alex Salmond.
The Alphabet women must be shaking in their boots at the latest carry on.
SNP are the vehicle to independence? To quote Sara Salyers. No Political party has achieved independence for their country. It has always been an external movement. SALVO Liberation Scot would be examples of external movements.

    1. Yes, Michael, I’ve been following Sara Salyers, and Salvo, who know that “No Political party has achieved independence for their country. ” These truths have never been open to public knowledge in this so-called ‘UK’. After all, London’s Westminster has NEVER informed a colony; so why inform Scotland’s population?

  8. The wheels of justice turn slowly though, and way too slow for most of us, with the damage done and being increased as time passes. Sitting in the back benches still pulling the strings and collecting the check while waiting on the golden parachute sounds ideal, and as referred to above, probably with a free pass (pardon) in the back pocket for, nudge nudge, services rendered. Let’s face it, the political route in the pretendy parliament under devolution is never going to get us our Independence. We need to get off out collective behind and take it.

  9. Compared to the time-frame, media-furore and man-hours expended in the attempted Salmond-assassination, the two-years already spent investigating this matter, without any conclusive statement, must be regarded with a healthy suspicion. The paper-trail either exists or it doesn’t exist—if not, why not? If it does exist, then it surely isn’t beyond-the-ken of accountancy to reach a conclusion regarding the numbers and their regularity or otherwise. With each week that passes, the meagre trust that exists regarding all concerned in the matter, including the commentariat, will only be further eroded.

    1. …for ‘further eroded’ read ‘eradicated’.

Two of the conclusions I drew from the Fabiani fiasco.

1] Either the committee members were too dumb or were prevented from asking each interviewee:
‘Did you leak the story to the Daily Record or if you did not, do you know who did?’

2] In the Scottish ‘system’ as currently configured, anonymity trumps criminality.

  10. They used the Indy supporter like a cash cow, knowing that a referendum was never going to happen under Sturgeon watch. I hope they’ve picked out the right bar of soap, I’d prefer soap on a rope with moisturizers some how I reckon these lot will need something with Anti-bacterial.

If Forbes or Humza takes over the SNP neither of them has the balls to rid themselves of the Unionist trash who have infiltrated the party we all loved and supported with all our being.

Well it’s obviously proving very difficult to bring justice given Handcock and his merry band of men are still free to make decisions on our lives and unless we have our constitution and salvo in place. Perhaps the union on trial might include some politicians fae here tae? The dream of soap on a rope would be closer if we did, I would even hand make it myself as a wee going away gift. 🤣

    1. Very interesting Panda – and this:
A spokesman also admitted hundreds of members domiciled outside Scotland and the UK would be able to vote.

Surely then there has to be a Scottish GE? This vote elects our FM. Feels like the Sturgeon cabal realised that they could seize control of a poorly administered colonial country and have themselves a ball – and they will do just about anything not to drop that ball.

  11. Interesting how aside of Kate Forbes right leaning sentiments consistent with so many privately educated, Oxbridge schooled students, it is now emerging that her husband Alisdair MacLennan may be a Tory.

Seems that in 2021 he attended the private members only hustings in Perth when Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak were touting to be the next Prime Minister. Statement that he only attended as a guest whilst the Tories say it was a member only event, Kate’s campaign are now denying that he is a member of any party.

Who knows then. Birds of a feather flock together and one is judged by who they associate with. Or maybe not. Forbes cannot be judged upon the actions and sentiments of her husband. But she can be judged by her attitude that, now is not the time for independence, and her support of right wing Tory type economic policies.

Of course, who knows what the party selection contest will deliver. It’s fair to say that very few people, given all that has been going on, can anyone conclude that the ballot will be fair and honest. As they used to say in Govan when it was Labour, even the dead vote!

And with Murrell in charge behind the scenes that sentiment more than certainly has a ring to it. Maybe the ghosts, or should one say the spooks, will be voting.

Stand down everyone as the leadership election will be all above board and tickety boo as those nice young chaps at GCHQ have offered to step up and ensure the Russians are not stuffing ballot boxes. I for one am reassured. If we could just get Ming the Merciless as returning officer job’s a good un.
