The progress of Salvo has been the most encouraging development of 2022. Please register at Liberation.scot and join the mass membership organisation that will be the signatories to our application to the UN, debate and organise a new Scottish Constitution. The membership of Liberation is also where the first members of Scotland’s National Congress will be balloted for selection.

  1. I shed a wee couple of years at the end when the Bruce’s March was playing and our good folk were doing what they have done for years now. The media of course are not reporting anything about this however we are seeing a lot of politicians conducting opinion polls and posting blame game articles on each other in a bid to distract the public from the truth.

    1. 😂 tears not years. I am convinced there’s a wee ghost in ma phone that likes to change things. Spooky stuff happened before when a love poem in Latin showed up fae William Wallace on ma phone as a reply to someone he must have loved. I thought I had been hacked. 👻😂

  3. I thank Salvo and all those involved. I hear what you’re saying and I agree and support it 100% but!

    People you have to forget about the actual parties who call themselves unionist simply because we already have them defeated, the problem is SNP and its leader. Nicola Sturgeon isn’t waiting 6 months to try and pull the wool over the UKG eyes, simply because Sara and people working in Salvo have already defeated the UK’s right to class Scotland as Scotlandshire.

    I can’t enforce enough how important it is to waken up to Sturgeon and the NUSNP. This woman is waiting 6 months to be able to deny Alba, ISP and every other organisation that wants to see Scottish Independence any voice or involving in the up coming plebiscite for Westminster. Then she’ll be able to kill Independence dead for good.
    The biggest threat to Scotland isn’t Westminster, PM, England’s MPs, the Royals, the Supreme court or any other Unionist organization you can think of. The most dangerous person in Scotland is the woman we have running the charge for Independence, Nicola Sturgeon. She is the dam holding back the water for the Union. She’s big on saying every two minutes “DEMOCRACY CANNOT BE DENIED” but she’s the one that is denying democracy. Sturgeon never utters the words, claim of right, why is that? She’ll hold a conference in 6 months or more, where she’ll rig it to deny any other political party’s involvement in the plebiscite election, other than the SNP, and its’ll be done in a way to ensure that the up and coming plebiscite will fail. Then Sturgeon and the UKG will be able and will say, Scotland has had its democracy and once again the people have chosen to remain in the UK. Trust me this will be the end of the Independence cause for a generation. she’ll see to that.

    Sturgeon has been denying our right to be Independent from the UK since taking over from AS and just because of the Supreme court ruling In my opinion Sturgeon got the result she wanted and she going to use it to deny us ever being Independent, she using Keith Brown but to what end.

    Starling said its not people who vote that counts, its the people who count the votes.

  4. Bit late seeing this… But this is big. I need to digest it a bit, and wrap ma heid around it. Phil says it’s dry, and I know where he’s coming from, but I think the hurdle communicating this is the sheer size of this, it’s seismic, literally everything we know will be shaken.

    It’s not like piecing together a jigsaw, it’s like two jigsaws, where every piece is removed from the UK jigsaw, making their image less clear and incomplete, but the pieces are then put into Scotland’s jigsaw, and a picture which hasn’t been seen for 300 years is not just emerging, but the jigsaw pieces are beginning to fit together with a complete precision.

    Phil is also dead right, this needs “weaponised” and a cohesive strategy developed quickly, to overturn the subjugation and fraud, and frankly blow it out the water.

    I had so much I needed to do today, but I’m not gonna be able to focus on anything else. This is dynamite.

  5. Ian, as you know, this is a difficult legal concept for most people. What we need is a simple document written in plain english explaining to the people of Scotland what the legal position is and that to pursue our rights, we the individual peoples of Scotland, need to sign up at Liberation.scot. Can you, Ian, see that this is done. It needs to be as brief as possible to hold the attention of those reading it because they will not want to read a 12 page dissertation on their rights. I was disappointed, as I’m sure many people were, when I saw the statement from the United Kingdom Supreme Court, but I’m heartened by what Salvo has uncovered. When it is put to the people of Scotland what has been uncovered there will be no problem in convincing them precisely what the benefits of independence are.

  6. When the first oil was drilled presumably advice would have been sought by the oil companies that it was legal to do so? BP originally owned by government but when it floated would new investors not have insisted on some statement re legality?

  7. Political/economic union – not TERRITORIAL union! I believe that we are now on the cusp of what the academics call “a paradigm shift” when we begin to see things in a completely new light. Sara Salyers may just be the Galileo of a renaissance in Scottish political orthodoxy. Take time to get your head round these ideas – it will be well worth the investment!
