An eight minute explanation of Scotland’s occupation

MY COMMENTS

Stuart’s bite size history lesson gives the lie to Scotland’s “voluntary” Union with England.

BEAT THE CENSORS

Regretfully a number of pro Indy sites operate on the basis of censoring and blocking messages from other pro Indy sites that do not slavishly follow  one particular Party. To overcome this attack on curtailing freedom of speech many of my readers share my articles  to negate this censorship. My thanks for doing so.

Free subscriptions are available on the Home and Blog pages of this site. This allows, for an email of each article to your Inbox and that is now how several thousands get my articles each day. SALVO

The work and important development of Salvo has been a beacon of hope and as it develops Salvo is creating campaigning hubs throughout Scotland. Salvo will join  with Liberation.Scot and as the campaigning arm of Liberation we are looking at very effective campaigns. This requires money so all donations to this site, once the running costs are covered, will go to support the work of Salvo/ Liberation. I think you will see it well used and effective. Donations are currently limited to £3

LIBERATION.SCOT

We are seeking to build Liberation.Scot to at least 100,000 signatures just as quickly as we can. This is part of our plan to win recognition as an official Liberation Movement via the United Nations. We intend to internationalise our battle to win Independence and through the setting up of our Scottish National Congress will prepare and develop our arguments to win progress in the International Courts. Please help by signing up at Liberation.Scot. It is from those who sign up to Liberation.Scot that the membership of the SNC will be created by ballot.

  1. Well, that was very interesting, Stuart. I’d seen a map of the cantonments some months ago, and it was shockingly clear from the coverage that Scotland was under military occupation. Your last point regarding the swords was also of great interest.

    Thank you.

    1. I saw a T.V program a few years back about a country house auction sale in the Southern Uplands. Among the items featured were two basket hilt swords, one of which bore that same motto. The prize item was a jewel of James the sixth vintage, one of only two in existence. I think the family name was Forbes and the sword was the one carried throughout the ’45. I do hope it was retained in a Scottish Collection, but that’s doubtful.

    2. Still got that T-shirt!
Proud to have been one of the transcribers on this project and good to see it getting more publicity at a time when details like the Occupation of Scotland might change a few people’s votesas they realise how we have been ntreated by the British Establishment.

  2. Excellent video. Well done for taking on that neglected research. I thank you for the hard work and reminding me that so many Scots are dedicated to getting the truth out there.
I only hope other Scots start to realise how much of their history has been hidden or distorted.

The phrase I printed on the swords is a snap shot of the true feeling towards the Union.

  3. reading between the lines i had always believed the uprisings of 15 and 45 were for independence. But sad to say BPC had a different agenda which was the rich English crown. If he had stopped at the Border we would have been a sovereign independent state…as borders were firming up all over Europe. I suspect Morey and others tried to tell BPC.

  4. we can talk all day about whether we are in a de facto colony or a de iure one, what matters is that we can dissolve the union because we are a partner in it. That’s what gives us the power to dissolve it.

if folk would spend their time focusing on dissolving the union in 15 months rather than debating the finer points of domestic law we’d be in a far better place.

The basic impediment to independence is the UK Supreme Court. The minute our MPs dissolve the Union it ceases to have any effect. Because of the principle of dissolution both parties have joint and several liability and right regardless of their respective shares until matters are resolved. Enwani will be desperate to be the continuing state. They can only do that if we agree.

      1. we can and that will be my pitch for Party President!

it’s simply unacceptable to say in one breath we want independence now and in the next breath but not quite yet!

  5. Thank you Stuart and the Society for your efforts. Anything who tells us it was a voluntary union of equals should be made to watch the video!

“Prosperity to Scotland and no union.”

  6. It is this quality of research that will help free us from the lies of the Scottish establishment, their colonial masters and many willing helpers, and move us forward to independence and a trulyScottish historiography.

  7. Thanks. Was watching one of the many tour guides and his video was Edinburgh Castle. The Redcoat café I find quite cheeky and suggest a name change. Oh let’s do lunch in the Redcoat café said nae Scottish independence supporter ever. 😄

  10. I wonder, ,could someone ask the legal establishment in Scotland. Many years ago my family members had their property stolen from them. Title deeds were then produced by the Scottish legal establishment claiming the property now belonged to someone else. Like many other people who suffered the same fate. We would like our property returned and compensation paid.

  11. Yes – The UK toxic then and toxic now. No surprise there for this self serving regime which has a concept of itself that it does not merit. I can’t wait to see the back of the UK. Good riddance when we get Independence. Personally I’d rather be Scandinavian than British.
