Upset….Good!

It seems lots of people down South are annoyed that they couldn’t hear the UK National Anthem at the start of the friendly international at Hampden earlier this week. The reason? Tens of thousands of Scottish supporters were booing for all they were worth to drown it out.

Without thinking about it too deeply, many were convinced this was Scots displaying strong anti English sentiment, unjustly in their opinion.

Let’s consider that for a minute. They were being asked to respect, not an English anthem but the UK version. Why? Let  me just ask why the English team feel justified to use that tune in the first place, it is supposed to be for Scotland, Wales and  Northern Ireland, in addition to England. Was there anyone seeking permission from outside England about this? England have plenty of alternatives available Land of Hope and Glory, Jerusalem or even Roll out the Barrel would provide a truly English anthem. Scots may even join in if Roll out the Barrel was the choice!

Secondly, the King in question, who undoubtably needs saved, is not the King of Scotland. He can’t be, he is an imposter never having taken the Scottish Coronation Oath or paid any attention to the limitation of his powers as outlined in Scotland’s Claim of Right 1689, which was a precondition of the Treaty of Union and remains current law in Scotland to this day.

This will come as a surprise to First Minister Humza Yousaf who was telling anyone who would listen earlier in the month that he planned to make the Claim of Right law in Scotland. His colleague Tommy Sheppard shared this ambition. In fact the Claim of Right 1689 is one of eighty three laws from pre Treaty of Union times which remain extant today. So that’s eighty two “new” ideas for Humza to come up with in the days ahead. Not sure he’s got enough days left with the Rutherglen by election looming.

You see when Scotland is treated as a colony by the foreign power next door it’s a bit unreasonable to expect people to be happy about it. The more so to be respectful for the Monarch who uses his false position to amass the fortune that comes from all Scotland’s assets that are being purloined daily using his false Crown as the justification. A fortune that should be rightly owned by the people doing the booing!

You see the Crown in Scotland is the people, the Sovereign people of Scotland. No Monarch or indeed Parliament in Scotland since before Robert the Bruce ever held the power to alter that, as the Treaty of Arbroath reminds us. It is part of the false narrative that runs contrary to the Claim of Right that any Westminster monarch has any right to our assets within the territorial nation of Scotland. Our oil, gas, renewable energy as a few examples.

That is why Scotland and England have separate Crown Offices. In England the Crown is the monarch therefore Charles, like his mother is entitled to the revenues raised there. Scotland however is different, as I stated earlier the revenues here belong to the sovereign people of Scotland. Scotland’s territory was never ceded to England or anyone else. This is why Unionists always describe the Union as a political union. That is why there is not a word about Scotland’s territory in the Treaty or Acts of Union. We are being gaslighted by our colonial power. Scotland’s Crown office operates in “trust” fashion with the revenues being managed on behalf of the owners I.e the People. Not doing a very good job I would argue where are these revenues in our Common good funds?

Now I suspect that probably only maybe a couple of thousand of those booing knew about all this ( you could recognise them as they were booing the loudest) this is why it is so important to the Union that organisations like Salvo and Liberation face a blanket media ban. We are dangerous….very dangerous to the future of the Union.

Still their greed gets the better of them. After many decades of robbing us of our oil and gas they are now doing it with our renewable resources. This is where we give all our wind energy away free to England and we get the “opportunity” to buy it back from them at the highest prices in the UK.

I think this is a big error, because unlike the gaslighting over the Crown people are catching on to this outrage. They wonder how it can possibly happen and when they enquire here we are with the explanation…..and the proof! Let me also praise a long term friend Kenny MacAskill MP for the outstanding work he is doing on this topic.

So believe me if Scotland was doing to England what Westminster is doing to Scotland they would be booing as well. Those complaining might also want to reflect on some English fans interrupting the minute silence for former Scottish manager Craig Brown, a very decent man with a wonderful friendly personality

So I would suggest if you are upset at the booing check out the above and it will provide a salve to your outrage. You will discover England deserves to be booed at every time they cross the border and I hope it continues until my Scotland is free to run our own affairs, free of interference from the colonial power next door. It’s called Independence.

    First thoughts on first tranche of data released from ScotGov census 2022.
    Headlines:
    Population 5.4636m, largest ever, increase 141,200, increase (from 2011) 2.7%, slowing rate of growth (previous growth rate was 4.6%)

    Without immigration population would have fallen 49,800. Therefore Net immigration 191,000.

    2011 census had indigenous Scots at 83.9% of population.
    Indigenous Scots in 2022 is not presented in first tranche of data, but can be calculated (by circuitous means) at 80.3%.

    1. I wonder how many of the 191,000 are English. Thereby increasing the NO vote should another vote ever occur. Time the franchise for boting wad redtricted to Indigionous Scots.
      Also wonder how many of the Tartan army Salvo signed up in the pubs and around the Stadium?

I’ll be surprised if the demographics of Scotland are released next year, in 2014 there was close to half a million folk from across the border living in Scotland with 72.1% of them voting no to independence, I’m confident that number of half a million is now obsolete, and more folk from South of the border are now living in Scotland.

      Living in Glasgow I hear a big rise in English accents from the likes of London, Liverpool, Newcastle and Birmingham, Glasgow is a big city so it absorbs this pretty well, I can only imagine how concentrated these accents must sound is much smaller communities.

      Lets see what the census has to say about that.

      1. At the moment that info is scheduled for 2025 making it post the general election. I think it is likely to be delayed until 2026 taking it handily until after the next Scottish election. The census delays are outrageous.

    1. I was also going to make this comment , but you beat me to it. However, someone must be feeling guilty about this verse, because I looked up a few versions of the words, and in only one did it appear as verse 6, and even in that version they state that Verse 6 is often omitted. I usually mute that anthem , but I enjoyed the “Hamden” version.

  8. Every institution in Scotland, particularly the Scottish legal system ha ha should be booed for allowing this gigantic theft to continue.
    As for politicians and political parties, all of them. They have over the decades proven themselves to be self serving and greedy beyond belief.
    They are, have been fully aware of Scotlands wealth but prefer to hand it over to a foreign power in return for personal baubles and trinkets They too should be booed out of existence.

    We are an “underground Colony” as Westminster preffers underhand stuff to the real facts. Which is to drain and rob Scotland of all the resources that we had, and that is how it has been since the so called ” Union” came into existance. Time for this to be stopped by the Scottish people en mass. Prefferably via our LEGAL claim of right. Where we can show the world what has been happening for centuries.

The booing was deserved, but I am sure it was due to the fact that Scottish games were NOT shown here in Scotland especially on our own TV channels, (Not everyone can afford SKY or BT these days) whilst every English game gets BBC cameras there… Even my English brother-in-law said the booing was justified, as it is bloody ridiculous that the Scotland team & Scottish supporters are treated like second class to Englands team..

    I also remember Jim Sillars refer to the Scottish football fans as 90 minute nationalist, and he was right, Because if that same crowd just got behind the Indy movement especially by signing up to Salvo & Liberation.Scot. We would have that much needed 100.000 signatures required. It is like so many Scots, come Hogmanay or a wedding and the Kilt goes on for a good Scottish tradition..Mention Independence to them and most don’t want to know..

    I just truly despair now, I gave 50+yrs to the SNP, I hate what they stand for today, I could never bring myself to give a vote to that party again.. It is all good and well to blame WM for everything, But for me, I have never voted for a UNIONIST in any WM election, but I gave 50+yrs voting for a Scottish party, that as far as I am concerned has done more damage to this country since 2015 than even Thatcher did… Boo the English National anthem by all means as it should be booed just for the fact it has that horrible verse in it, but also BOO if you are prepared to stand up for their country..

  12. I’m very proud of every fan who booed the Nation Anthem of another Country. He is not my King and I detest the concept of a Monarchy.

  13. The ‘boo’ component has been around for decades and however justifiable, will do nothing to change the status quo. It will always be seized upon by the anti-Scottish press (Is there any other kind?) and makes for an attention-grabbing headline. Much more sensationalist than ‘Yet another radiation leak at Faslane’.

    More gratifying and probably causing more ‘upset’ in Westminster Control Centre, is the gradual increase of ‘colony’ and ‘colonial’ when referring to matters Scottish. An important shift in the narrative. For that, thanks are due to the usual suspects, particularly Professor Alf Baird.

    1. Agree, but we must get rid of the ‘Colonial Mindset’ which cannot get beyond the idea that we need to ask permission of London to get our independence. The idea that the British Government has any right to prevent Scots passing our own laws which we have voted for (I would hope that we can sort out those recently passed, which ahve been poorly drafted, to say th least) or decaring the end of the Union, provided we can show we have the numbers, goes completely against the Claim of Right, which was incorporayed into the Treaty of Union. We need to rise up and stste that we are a nation again and not a Colony.

  15. The King get just a touch of what he deserves, he has all the money he needs from his multitude of assests. He considers we are one of them in every way, between him and Westminster, they are robbing Scots blind. A day of reckoning must be coming, when we ask for all they have stolen from us back.
    That is a day I look forward to coming.

  16. Lord Foulkes wants us to change our Scottish National anthem from Flower of Scotland to one which the colonial masters and the Settlers dont find offensive. How about their anti Scottish so called British National anthem which is appalling and racist to the core. (Rebellions Scots to crush) I think it sums their racist genocidal state full of hate malice and vindictiveness for the Scottish indigenous population.

  18. Here its pointed out that the England fans booed Scotland’s national anthem during a England v Scotland match at Wembley back in 2021, and that a certain Mr McCoist said nothing about it.

    And closer to home for McCoist.

  21. Rebellious Scots to crush.

    C’mon Scottish government if I threatened to crush anyone I’d have the Police Scotland political brownshirts round to arrest me and a court system designed to throw me in jail for such threats.

    But the English national anthem is racist fighting talk. A bit like another Brit Unionist song that chants of being up to their knees in Fenian blood, surrender or you’ll die, the knives are truly out with these unionist sentiments. How therefore would it be if the chant was up the other way round with up to our knees in English blood. Not a pleasant retort to a thoroughly unpleasant union sentiment.

    To every force there is an equal and opposite reaction. God Save the King, Rule Britannia, Land of Hope and Glory, No surrender – all of these anthems are designed to promote hate. Booing is a mild sentiment. Hate is in the air, it truly is, and like the Irish the Scots are the object of English hate.

    And all the while, as this article points out the plunder and the suppression goes on by our big powerful neighbour who made colonisation its business.

  22. Has Scotland finally awakened from its 316 year slumber? Now we need a Scottish franchise and a Scottish solution to this Scottish issue. The colonial foreign oppressor and rapist must be excluded from this process. Politicians can either bow to the will of the Community of the Realm or go to hell! Independence…nothing less!!!!
